Best wishes for big things in 2018
Above is my favourite picture of the year. We were travelling on a dusty road in a remote part of Ethiopia, when we came across the most enormous olive tree that I have ever seen – it was at least 100 times bigger by volume than I could possibly have imagined that an olive tree could be (compare the woman at the bottom of the picture).
Life is bigger than we ever imagine… I urge you to grasp it… think big… do big… make a difference*.
Thank you for a fun 2017, I’ve really enjoyed connecting and working with you. Eleven customers trusted me to work with them during the year on some fascinating assignments from strategy and market development to executive mentoring and organisation development.
I wish you the best possible Christmas and a peaceful start to 2018.
*PS: We were in Ethiopia looking at the outstanding work of Tearfund there. They are a faith-based charity which is very focussed on making a practical difference to people’s lives (not preaching). They have a brilliant strategy for doing that. If you would like to make a difference, you can make a donation here.
PS2: Here are some of the papers I’ve written and sent through the year:
